I played a 12 fret Taylor a while ago, but can't remember if it was a 7 or 8 series. Very sweet sound due to the 12th fret join and short scale. I'd certainly suggest trying it out first, as the lack of fret access and smaller body isn't for everyone.

    Haven't played a 712 but I love 12 fretters. It's bloody gorgeous.

For a 700 series it’s close. They might take a little less if you push - my experience with Coda is that they are very honest with when they can and cannot discount.

I love Taylor 12-frets. The sound is unlike all other Taylors, which may be for better or for worse for you, but I prefer it personally. Sweeter tone overall. My main acoustic at the moment is a 322ce.

  • Morning,

I have the same guitar and love it. Price looks about right, you might be able to haggle a hundred or so off the listed price which would make it a decent buy.

IF your anywhere near Surrey youre welcome to come and try mine out.

    Cheers
