i got mine for £650 with a hard case, fantastic guitars.
Edit: it's not an electro-acoustic as the link states!
Guild and Faith do nice acoustics under that price, Millers in Cambridge sell Faith.
If you get a chance try PRS SE range if only to discount them (I did and ended up buying one!).
PMT in Cambridge to try a few different makes to see what you like?
Designed by Patrick James Eggle, solid woods, nicely made. They sound great for the money.
- what is your playing style? Do you mostly strum, or finger pick?
- what kind of neck profile do you like?
- Do you like a narrow nut width or wider? Same for string spacing at the saddle. Generally if you like a wider string spacing at the nut and saddle it's down to one will fingerpick the guitar.
- What body size do you find the most comfortable?
I have a Naked Mercury- it's elegant, simple & bloody marvelous.
Unfortunately, I don't have any idea what I like as I have never really played acoustic guitar before. I'm gonna take a trip to music village and maybe coda.
I had planned to get a big baby Taylor but when I played other guitars in the store the baby Taylor seemed a bit well babyish.

The faith Neptune in the for sale section on the forum looks a good buy. I fancy a Neptune Bloodmoon myself.
I need to try Eastman one day. They seem very well thought of.
