My trading feedback - I'm a good egg
For example - it's not that many months ago I heard the doorbell ring, my wife answered it and then the door was closed again before I could get downstairs.
'Who was that, dear?' I asked. The LOOK I got - I sensed all was not well.
'FedEx', she said. (The temperature was definitely arctic).
'Oh. What did they bring? Parcel for next door again?'
'No. Not for next door. It's addressed to you, so maybe you'll know'. (Absolutely subzero now).
At this point, I turned around and noticed the massive cardboard box in the hall. The exterior suggested it had a 2x12 amp inside, and indeed, this is what it proved to be. I'd recently had an amp serviced and sent back to me, and somehow the company* had got my address mixed up with a music shop somewhere, and an amp which was nowt to do with me had been sent to me by mistake.
Domestic harmony was restored after I'd explained, but I had to ring the company three times to get them to actually collect the amp (eventually it transpired they were sending FedEx to yet another wrong address...); I think it had nearly a month with us in the end, and by the end I'm sure my wife was beginning to think I'd made up the world's most elaborate lie to sneak an amp into the house.
So, it's not just you

No, thankfully not. Somebody's head would have rolled that day, I am guessing.
I did send some money to solicitor 3 in a 3 solicitor chain once, instead of solicitor 2.
It was a long time ago, and I was friendly with all of them, but I won't do it again. What a fright. It was only £135k or so, though, so not really a major issue.
