Someone has just sent me a V30 by mistake.

I would love to keep it but I suspect someone is expecting one in the post and it has arrived at mine (unless I have really lost the plot). I recognise the name and address but can't put a forum name to it. Anyone expecting one or just posted one PM me and we can sort it out.

    Domestic harmony was restored after I'd explained, but I had to ring the company three times to get them to actually collect the amp (eventually it transpired they were sending FedEx to yet another wrong address...); I think it had nearly a month with us in the end, and by the end I'm sure my wife was beginning to think I'd made up the world's most elaborate lie to sneak an amp into the house.

    So, it's not just you :)

    No, thankfully not.  Somebody's head would have rolled that day, I am guessing.

    I did send some money to solicitor 3 in a 3 solicitor chain once, instead of solicitor 2.

    It was a long time ago, and I was friendly with all of them, but I won't do it again.  What a fright.  It was only £135k or so, though, so not really a major issue.
