    I know very little about the impact of F and G spaced pickups - would they sound odd in the same guitar? 
    2mm doesn’t sound a lot tbh!

    I think the string spacing is slightly wider at the bridge than the neck on a Les Paul. These came in a LP Traditional I just got and the strings lined up well with the pole screws, here's a pic -

    @robwright - I may be wrong but I'd heard that all neck humbuckers are the narrower G spacing as standard and the variation only applies to the bridge pickup where the difference in spacing would be most noticeable. That said, in my experience there's not a lot of audible difference, just slight visual with how the strings line up with the poles.
