Sold: Wuddy's 5060 Special Blends Alnico 3/5 Stratocaster Pickups by Mojo Pickups
£120
For sale is my set of Wuddy’s 50/60s blends Stratocaster pickups - made by Marc at Mojo pickups
Alnico 3 mags below the unwound strings, (Classic 50s warm, open, articulate chime)
Full power Alnico 5 magnets below the wound strings (tight, punchy response to the bottom end).
The bridge pickup has a baseplate.
These are quite simply the nicest sounding Stratocaster pickups I have ever played through.
For me that's weird, since I’m a great fan of hum-cancelling Kinman pickups, but I once played these - I was hooked.
Only one reason for selling - I fitted a Warmoth neck with a 16” radius to my Strat and I intend to buy an identical set of pickups with a flat polepiece stagger to better suit the new flatter fingerboard radius.
The current polepiece stagger is ideal up to a radius of 12"...
I would be delighted to swap if someone has the same pickups with flat (non-staggered) polepieces...
