hi people

does anyone have a spare emg solderless vol pot?
prefer short shaft but long will do

can offer a few £ or will swap for solderless tone pot
don't really fancy paying £20 for a new one if possible

Probably got some rattling around in a box.

I am not interested in the EMG passive tone control for guitar. Do you have any other surplus EMG or Seymour Duncan 9v system components to trade?
    Be seeing you.

I only have the short split splined shaft type. Is this suitable for your needs?

Apologies for my confusion earlier. I had two separate conversations about EMG Quick Connect parts running simultaneously.

    Be seeing you.

Would it be possible to convert the tone to volume by snipping out the surface mounted capacitor?

I have a bunch of the EMG solderless pots and components in stock usually if anyone needs any.

Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.
Stockist of: Earvana & Graphtech nuts, Faber Tonepros & Gotoh hardware, Fatcat bridges. Highwood Saddles.

Pickups from BKP, Oil City & Monty's pickups.

No. (I just tested your theory with an EMG 25k Passive Tone control to which I had attempted to fit a .022uF capacitor.) The PCB tracks are different. Therefore, the PCB would also need to be snipped.

    A tenner should cover it.

    Be seeing you.
