UNPLANNED DOWNTIME: 12th Oct 23:45
FS: Some quality pickups(Reduced) - SD Antiquity (SOLD) - SUHR ML Neck(SOLD) - JOE BARDEN HSS set
Time to clear out the pickup cupboard a bit:
First up - Set of Seymour Antiquity 1 - so that's 2 x Texas Hot ( Neck & Middle RW) and 1 x Custom bridge. The neck and middle read approx 6.3 and the bridge is approx 9.1. They're pretty 'aged' and have been in and out of various strats - but i'm pretty much HSS these days and it seems a shame to split them up - so this is a SET. The sound is legendary ! ... they're not HOT as the name suggests - nor particularly 'texas' ... just fabulous vintage strat with a tiny bit more beef. Leads not cut so full length still there

Suhr ML Standard Neck - as new - fitted to one guitar which i then sold - with original p/ups. Fabulous BIG Landau sound...really clear and plenty of upper mids to cut through

Joe Barden HSS set TM8/15 Humbucker and S-Deluxe.
Frighteningly expensive pickups and touted as possibly the most detailed on the market.
Well .. yes they are ( both). Not for the faint-hearted, they're capable of wringing out every last nuance .. so you've got to get on top of your technique. However , if you do ...it's ALL there.
I found that pickup height is the critical element with these ... if you get them too close - they'll destroy you -- back them away and they get much much kinder and more traditional ... but there's still enough power to kick the amp should you wish.
They're about £150 EACH !! now .... ouch - i'd prefer to sell as set but might split the HB &S-Deluxes
