It's pretty clear that a number of attendees are concerned about transparency, and the only way to solve that is to publish a confirmed set of accounts. With that in mind, @TTony if you could transfer what's been collected for Feb to me and update the thread with my PayPal address (I believe you have it but if you want a reminder please drop me a PM), and if you would be kind enough to confirm that the paid attendee list is up to date, I'll start a new thread for income and expenditure.

I'll keep this up to date, and no decisions about spending will be made without referring to at least the other organisers, and ideally all attendees.

If there is a surplus at the end, I will ask for opinions and then a vote on what to do with it.

I honestly can't see a better way of doing this to move on.

Strewth these jams threads are becoming blood lettings. No reflection on you, just sad you have to start a thread to evidence the money when everyone is chipping in buttons to cover the costs and not paying for the time of people to organise.

I paid £40 on the 12th August. Or do you need Tony to confirm payees and then we can then check we’re on the payee list ??

I'm going to refund everyone who's paid for Sasquatch & WaterRats.

Whoever is picking up the org role for those - and future - sessions can then run the process from start to finish and be clear about who's paid what for where and when.

I'm also just about to start a new thread with the finances for each of the previous sessions.

It is good that you are being transparent with the money, to be honest it would not bother me, but for some I guess it would.

(this is not a pop at anyone).

If someone doesnt turn up to the event, do they get all of there money back (which may put you out of pocket) or is it better to refund them less any expenses occured on the day..... maybe you should start doing this... I don't know.

Just my two cents of course

Erm... ok. That's...slightly more awkward, but it's workable.

I'll not be asking anyone for money until I know the people that have already paid have received their money back, obviously.

So, if this is right (I've no idea!) Can people let me know when they've had money back, and I'll get the ball rolling. Ta.

WTF are you on about, with all those foreign musicians banned, there will be a huge need for middle aged dudes that can sing, guitar and drum badly! And I’ll have and extra £350 million a week....
