    This amp is a blast mate, it sounds great imo! but its one of them amps that sounds the greatest when master vol is higher! but personally its just not the sound i'm after, i'm looking for a thinner sound, slash sound if u wanna call it! which is why i'm after an AFD100 :P

    It's the best way to play em. I use an early 2204 and the combo version 4104. I'm considering selling the combo for another head. It's extremely heavy and my poor back is struggling. I was after an original 2203 but would consider the re issue. Where are you. Cheers Scott

    Me never have played an original 2203 I can't exactly give an honest opinion on how distinct the sounds are, but I can assure that the reissue is a killer! :P , and I am located in Romford, Essex ;)

    I use mine for a late 70s rock tone. Can get good JMP sound with master up high and just enough pre amp to crunch it up a bit. Quite a distance from me. I'm in South Worcestershire.

    I just can't believe you havn't sold this yet.

    I have loads to pay out this month otherwise I would have took your arm off way before now. In 1987 I had a 1985 JCM800 and it is still to this day the best amp I ever had, I wish I had never sold it. If you still have this in june, I would gladly take this for £600.

    I will mention this to the few people I talk to and see if they are interested.

    Ye I know dude! I had people offering me about £400 its like it really can't go much cheaper than what it is now, not for what it is coz its like you, this is a tone monster :3 , and ye man come back to me in June or keep checking the thread to see if its still up for sale :3 and I would would definitely appreciate if you spread the word around man, thank you :)

    Yes you're right, its a 2010 Reissue of the '81-'84 model ;)

    Yes you're right, its a 2010 Reissue of the '81-'84 model ;) they go for 1.4k brand new
