I found myself in the strange position of not having a guitar for a band that I was playing in.  Since I have over a hundred to choose from, this isn't something that happens usually.  What I needed was an Electro-Acoustic.  I have lots of acoustics and a couple of Ovation 12 strings, but no 6-string.  I was browsing my emails and there was an as-is sale of a PRS SE Angelus which needed new strings and a setup.  The price was great and it included a hard case, so I went for it.  I'm very glad that I did.  It's a great guitar, though it did need one additional thing - a battery.  With that in place, I took it along to the last 2 rehearsals and it has been perfect.  Exactly what I needed for ~$350.  If anyone is thinking of one of these, but isn't sure, then I would tell you to go for it.  This is the standard mahogany back model, but for amping up, I don't think the mahogany or rosewood makes a difference.
