FS: Early 70's Wilsic Sound V50/ Miles Platting. Hand wired plexi english tone! Price drop
Another 70's rarity here. It's an early 70's Wilsic Sound V50. They were designed by and made for Miles Platting and JHS by wilsic sound in Doncaster in the 70's: it's essentially a twin channel ultralinear plexi. All handwired and is so well built. The HUGE douglas (wound in louth) transformers must be worth a fair whack on their own. As far as I know it still has all of the original valves. EECs in the preamp section. It sounds massive and really does nail that classic plext sound when driven hard with humbuckers. Still a rangemaster in front of it and you're away! Here is the exact same amp (as far as i know wilsic sound and the miles platting amps are exactly the same)
I'm after £300 ono.
