But don't write off Gibson, if you can play the actual guitar you (may!) want to buy - when they get it right, they get it so right that nothing else touches them. My Dove is simply the best-sounding, best-playing acoustic guitar I have ever experienced - literally 'the sound in my head' of what a great acoustic should be, and - despite its long scale length - feels like it's strung a gauge lighter than it really is. And despite being very much *not* what I thought I wanted in an acoustic guitar, or even what conventional wisdom says should be good - it's all-maple but sounds warm and full (not hollow or bright), has a huge thick bridge (but sounds vibrant and powerful), is a dreadnought (but fingerpicks as well as it strums), and looks like Dolly Parton's handbag (I don't really like flashy guitars) - then that's OK as well.

Post a sound clip of U playing - would be helpful.
