    If you can't get good/incredible drum sounds of any genre with this software, it's truly not the software that's at fault. ;)
    This just about sums it up.

    The only thing that I would add is that adding the room mics (a further 40GB of samples on top of the 40GB  of basic drum sounds) is well worth it in my experience.  It just knits everything together nicely.

    The mixer is now nice enough that I no longer send multi outs to my DAW.  The groove library is huge to the point of being overwhelming (I need to refine my navigation skills).

    I've just been transferring a load of old projects onto my new music pc ready to re-visit them in the New Year when I have free time.  A fair few were recorded with Superior Drummer 2.0.  Listening back the difference between 2.0 and 3.0 is amazing.

    Just downloaded Decades thanks to Santa. Initial impressions are that it sounds fantastic. Really nice natural sounding kits  with some great presets. Very impressed :-)

    ABOUT
    HUGH PADGHAM

    Hugh is a British audio engineer, producer and mixer. He started his career in the 1970s as a tape operator at Advision Studios in London, UK, working on albums by the likes of Mott the Hoople, Gentle Giant and many more. From there he went on to work at the legendary The Townhouse, engineering for bands like XTC, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins. The rest is, of course, history. 

    To date, Hugh has won four Grammy Awards along with many other industry accolades and nominations for his outstanding production work and contributions in the field music. He is considered one of the most influential producers in the industry.
