    No idea regards this but I have two guitars made by a former Sobell employee, N K (Nigel) Forster whose guitars are wonderful and a good alternative if you do not get a reply from Stefan

    Currently a 3 year waiting list iirc!

    AJ Lucas makes some lovely guitars, played a few of them at last year's London Acoustic show. Wish I'd bought one tbh.

    Have you tried giving Stefan Sobell a phone call? I see he posted a news item on his website on July 27th. There's nothing on his website to suggest that he is stopping taking orders.

      I had a Sobell on loan for a couple of weeks, it was not my cup of tea so this may be a good thing.

    I see some SDJ going in Brighton ???
    Unless u'r claiming it on expenses or have money and 'need' to belong to that echelon of owners of these exclusive guitars (anything over 2.5 / 3k) there's a lot of superb playing and sounding instruments up to the 2k mark.

    I haven't played either! Looking for a custom build so I think budget needs to be 5k min
