If we're lucky enough to get more than 10 people who can say for 100% sure they'll attend and they don't mind paying up front then great it'll cost less for everyone. Once we've made the booking anyone else who wants to attend can do so for free or chuck a couple of quid at bridgehouse when they get there...........or buy some coffees.........yeah, I think I prefer a round of coffees bought. Let's see what happens.

it's a Travelodge that is nearest to Quad I think, about 1/2 mile or so away, then you have a Prem Inn and IBIS near the train station.

I'm definitely interested - based in Northampton so it's a short drive away - would love to jam a few songs on guitar and drums if possible. What day are you considering? A Weekend one or a weekday evening?

I'll put myself down as a definite. I'll be driving up from St.Albans. I haven't posted a lot, but have been lurking, and it will be nice to meet you all. Despite being 2 months away, I'm already nervously excited about playing in a "band" : )
It will give me something to work towards as well, if we have a list of songs to perform. If I can think of something suitable to play, I'll post it. Might need to borrow an amp though. I'm a home /THR10 player.

I remember how nerve wracking it was the first time I tentatively moved a truss rod...!

I can help out with this stuff too, should it be necessary.

I'm unlikely to volunteer for anything except rhythm parts, but I'm happy to be challenged to learn new stuff. Been doing a new song or two every week at the moment.

The biggest challenge now is which guitar to bring and whether to bring my amp or not (Most of my fx are in the foot controller)

If you are driving I say bring what you are comfortable with - if it's a chance to give the amp a leg stretch then do it, if you're worried about it then bring your FX on their own.

Guitar wise, well... whatever you fancy

I suspect my CS Strat will get a showing if anyone wants to try it - it's a relic anyway so I don't mind a few extra finger prints on it

And for the bass players - I'll bring the 64 P for those who want to cork sniff some pre-CBS tones
