    Ooh, sounds intriguing?

On one of the Walls I previously owned (a purple one) I ended up making a cavity cover which worked ok but I think you'll struggle to find an original one given the low number of these guitars made and the fact that the cavity cover was not the same shape as the rest of the Berlin range.

But who knows, maybe there is one floating around out there somewhere.

I once tried registering on the Eggle Owners forum in the hope of sourcing these bits. My application never got approved. (Possibly, because the forum was defunct by then.)
    Be seeing you.

Umm, the unofficial forum (which was born out of the closure of the official one in 2005) is still very much alive and well: Patrickeggleguitars.org/smf

Just tried that. The process has gotten about as far as it did last time.

I have had to invent a new user name. Some bugger had already taken my usual one. It would be just my luck that the other user is also me from my previous attempt to register. Perhaps, that attempt succeeded but the confirmation e-mails never reached me? Probably not worth fretting about.
    Be seeing you.

I had a quick look and if the user name you tried to register with is the same one you have here, you're not showing as a member on the PEG forum. If you would like to complete your registration you can email: forum [at] patrickeggleguitars [dot] org for support. Either way, I would be interested to hear more about your Wall project...

The name I have here is the one that I used the first time that I attempted to register at the PEG a few years ago.

This time, I have used a silly Spoonerism because the PEG site informed me that the name that I tried before was already in use. (Interesting that they say it is and you say that it isn't.)

Thus far, the same response as last time. (i.e. Not getting the confirmation e-mail.)

"Is it because I is black?"

Yup. Crept in to the crypt, crapped and crept out again.

I joined and asked if anyone had a spare control plate but no luck, I’d borrow one and get one 3D printed tbh

When I had a Berlin Wall I cut my own from some black plastic.

The problem with the Wall, is the rear cover is a different shape to any of the other Berlin models.

Déjà vu agaïn? (That's yer actual French.)

I have a BWB plastic offcut somewhere but I am tempted to get clear instead. The Fishman Fluence wiring is an endlessly fascinating rat's nest of colour.

The tricky thing would be installing a rectangular Fishman cover plate power pack over the Eggle Berlin Wall's trapezoidal vibrato spring cavity.
