SOLD: USA Fender Pro Junior w/Ragin' Cajun speaker upgrade
What's Hot
Need to clear out some stuff so selling my Pro Junior. It's a USA made blond/oxblood model, serial no T-067473.
It's reasonably tidy though not immaculate, with no major dents or tears, it has JJ EL84s, is fitted with a triode/pentode switch for lower volume breakup, and is generally a fun, loud, great-sounding amp.
The Eminence Ragin' Cajun is widely regarded as THE speaker upgrade for these, and they're not wrong, it can handle anything the amp can throw at it without farting out.
If you already know about these amps you'll know that they are fantastic mic'ed up, which is why they're in pro studios and stages all over the world. If you don't know, this thread is fairly typical;

1980 Tokai LS-80
I owned both for a while, but soon got rid of the BJ. I gigged the PJ in a six piece funk band, and used a Marshall Powerbrake to regulate onstage volume (even though its only 15w), but when I tried to use the BJ in the same band I couldn't hear it at all. Something about the tone stack, the Fat switch, the reverb and even the cab just kills it. I even recently bought a BJ cab off a member on here, put the PJ chassis and a Celestion Classic Lead in it, and it was crap, though its fantastic thru a proper 12" cab.
The original small box, a good 10 inch speaker and that punchy non-MV amp just WORKS somehow.
I should probably mention that the only reason I'm selling it is because I have two of 'em
Two is good.
