As above I am punting my DT-25 combo up for sale to fund an H & K Grandmeister which I have been getting serious GAS pangs for.

The amp is in very good condition and has only been gigged a handful of times so mainly home use. It has always had the cover on when not in use.

This is a really flexible amp and does Fendery clean, Marshall esque and all points in betwen up really high gain. Loads of options for adding cabs, FX loop, MIDI (in & out), a bedroom mode low power switch and a footswitch jack.

It can be used wiht a 2 button footswitch, MIDI foot controller or the Line 6 link (l6 link) to allow an HD Pod to control it.

The amp has two channels which can have various types of preamp dialled in (30 via MIDI or loads more via a Pod and L6 link) and the power section can be configured in a variety of way topology and class wise.

I am looking for £350 ovno including insured and tracked postage to any UK address, naturally anyone local enough is welcome to try before committing, bring your guitar too. :-)

    Have you tried a Grandmeister? I used to have a DT25 (actually fancy another) and recently bough, and promptly returned, a Grandmeister. It had 17 million sounds all of which were IMO rubbish, save yourself a few hundred quid and keep the line 6

    I hear what you are saying @John_A and in an ideal world I would keep it as well as the GM36, but terminal skintness dictates I have to sell.

    It is one of those itches I need to scratch being a lover of most H & K amps owning a few including 2 switchblades.

    But yes the DT-25 is a lovely amp which is very flexible and has many great tones in it. I love it and it is really great when used with my POD HD500 & JTV-59 a la the so called "Dream Rig".

    Plan B is that if the GM36 doesn't work out as I will have a cab I will sell it on and go back to a head version of the DT-25.

    As we all know GAS is a very cruel mistress indeed and sense or logic has no place in it LOL.

    No worries John_A and thanks, once I get the GM36 (hopefully from @StefB in the next week or so I will PM you my thoughts relative to the DT-25 Vs the GM36.

    As I liked the Switchblade I would hope this scratches my H & K fanboi related itch, if not it will be flip time for teh GM36 and back to a DT-25 or some other amp on my GAS list LOL, you know how it is I am sure.
