Hi

I wonder if anyone has a Fender MIJ Pink Paisley for sale? I’ve been looking for one but had no joy and the Custom Shop ones are beyond my budget! If anyone has any recommendations as to any sites / shops that they may pop up on too that would be awesome

    Thanks @theatreanchor I’d seen this one, slight nicks to it but I do wonder if they would come down in price…it’s annoying considering what you could pick them up for originally! I’m always late to the party!

    Worth a shot. The blue flower ones look nice too - think there was a recent reissue. Just my 2p, but I didn’t think they were my favourite Teles (they look fab though). Great MIJ quality but still needed electrics upgrading. Definitely check out the AVRI series if you haven’t. I sprung for a CS Tele in the end and haven’t looked back. Took a while to pay off but definitely worth it in the end. Good luck!

    Might be worth widening the search to include the Tokai MIJ version, too, if you're not fussed about the name on the headstock.

    IME the more recent reissues were not as nice looking as the pevious ones. So another vote for Tokai or GoldenEraGuitars.

    Fuck me I remember when these were a £500 guitar used max. I appreciate all guitars have increased in price and there’s a rarity element but they’re never worth £1400.

    I was thinking that the price seemed steep @stevebrum especially considering the original price point! I’ve also got my eye on a Gretsch Penguin. I’ve only been learning for about 10 months and it’s escalating quickly!

    Play as many as you can before you part with your cash, and find what fits your budget, hands and your heart best! Don’t rush it. ;)

    I sold mine for around £800 about the same time.
    Now have an Allparts body and Fender HW neck (right logo but 22 frets) that I’ve just stuck a set of Fender 64 pickups in.

    Thanks everyone, i need to have a nose around before making any decisions. I’ve got a Fender Strat on order that’s due next month so it’s probably wise that I wait a while before buying anymore!
