Recently picked this up in a trade but I’m not going to have time to use it to it’s full potential. Excellent condition, boxed with all the gubbins. Only thing that’s different from a new one is the cable isn’t original, so it’s a USBC - A cable. Apart from that it’s all there.

    Might be worth mentioning that IK Multimedia have changed their stance on license transfers with the Tonex Pedal. So the software now transfers with the pedal. So you will get Tonex Max and Amplitube 5 included.
    You will just have to request a license transfer and they email you new serial numbers for the software so the new owner can register them.

    I’m in several ToneX facebook groups and the amount of people that have bought used and have something they can’t use as the seller hasn’t organised a transfer of the serial and then blanked the buyer. 

    They are stuck with a completely useless unit for warranty and software. I’ve seen the responses from IK support and they’ll give you absolutely nothing if the seller hasn’t gone down the official transfer route.

    I don't understand why as it's really not difficult.

    I've recently sold my Tonex pedal. The transfer went very smoothly. I requested the transfer from IK and had an email within 10 minutes with the new serial numbers for the software. I forwarded these on to the new owner, job done. It was a very simple and quick process.

    Hi Dave, you mentioned that you picked it up in a trade, so was the licence transferred to you at that time, i.e are you the current licence holder? If so, I assume a potential buyer would need you to arrange the transfer?  Are you ok with that? Thanks.

    @glt56 - I am the current license holder and I can arrange the transfer. Essentially I would unlink the account/license and then provide that to the buyer to authorise to their account.
