    Looks like there is still some "meat" on the headstock to effect a repair using splines, but I wish the seller had taken a photo of the rear of the neck with the headstock pushed as far into place as possible so we could assess how much of the wood has been lost and how well it might mate together.  For £30 it would probably be worth a punt if I had a bit more time on my hands at the moment.

    I believe it may have been snapped up by Essex Recording Studios.  There was a wee bit in the small print of the advert that said Roddy Frame once looked at it on the hook in the guitar shop when it was new, so there's definitely some solid "famous guitarist" provenance with which to boost the resale price.
