Pretty sure there was one on here recently - but god damn I hate the “search” on this forum if you’re on a phone.

I loved mine! Sold it though, consolidated my trem and reverb into one rather well known pedal... (V2).

Well I’ve always liked the Flint, and must have had at least 6 of the damn things. I find tremolo one of the hardest things to get right. Not sure the Flint ever had the right dynamics and feel, but obviously always sounds good. How are you finding the new version? I’ll admit it sort of passed me buy, but the stereo side of it and Midi sync could be great on synths and guitars….

It’s still as lovely as I remember, maybe a bit better but that may be confirmation bias (they’ve changed the processor, maybe that’s it?). One concern is that it gets very middy when I use the 80s hall with the mix high, even with the tone at its brightest. Might be down to the 10” speaker on my Princeton but not sure. Didn’t get this with my Big Sky on similar settings. The plate is lovely though, very full and warm and loads of decay on tap as well.

It was the new additions here that interested me

A premium analog JFET input circuit ensures superb responsiveness to your playing, and you can select mono or stereo input with the flick of a rear panel switch.”

Yep, there’s a definite improvement in sound with that, A/B’d a V1 and V2 (no other pedals) and there was a noticeable improvement.

  • The JFET circuit on the Deco v2 seems improved to me as well.
