    Lots of the chips are fakes. I need one of those myself as have a board for it. 
    You're right, though of the three I got, one was from a random ebay seller, but the others were from Fuzz Dog and Banzai Music in Germany, so I'd have hoped they're both reputable enough to not sell on fakes. They all acted the same.
