I built a Tele for a friend now he wants individual saddles like a strat.
Fender 6 saddle bridge will look the most traditional I think. He doesn't like the compensated 3 saddles.
thanks

To be fair, the compensated saddles on there now are the Wilkinson ones and on that Tele at least, they are over compensating the D and G especially.  I've tweaked it a bit to angle the saddle a little differently, but it is still there and it's irritating him and it's put him off buying other compensating saddles. He wants the type he can adjust individually.

The Gotoh in tune ones are really nice - and the compensation is a little better than the Wilkinsons…

Yes the Intunes are very good I have them on a couple of Teles.

Has your associate expressed any preference for saddle material? The Fender vintage style six saddle bridge assemblies have (the historically correct) steel saddles. These will change the tone of the guitar.

The modern Fender bridge, with the bent steel saddles, works well but has its three mounting screw holes in a different position than a vintage bridge. The string through holes may also be in a slightly different position compared to vintage.

He said he wants the Chrissie Hynde Tele type bridge to be able to adjust every element of the saddles.  He hasn't mentioned materials but he likes to get Tele jangle and brightness so the standard steel should be perfect and yes it needs the traditional 4 screw holes.
