I bought this for my 1963 Tele which came with a Seymour Duncan in the neck. I have now sourced the correct pre cbs neck pup so looking to sell this on. It’s currently in the 63 Tele body which is in for a refin but will discuss logistics of getting it to any potential buyer. I also have a Crazy Parts Tele guard and the afore mentioned Seymour Duncan J-100 pup to add but will do this tomorrow.

66 Tele Pup - £395 plus postage

And the Crazy Parts aged tele guard not much to say brand new and unused. I have a mint green one too which will be available once I have it back in a few months.

SOLD £25 inc postage

Jackson J-100 Neck Pup

This was in my 63 Tele when I bought it. Has a bit of red paint in from a hasty refin job but functional.

I am curious about this. In over forty years of using SD pickups, I have never heard of this model.

On the other hand, J-100 is familiar to me as the name of a Jackson/Charvel single coil pickup from the Eighties.

Is this cut for a regular Telecaster neck/Rhythm position pickup or something larger?
    Be seeing you.

Wow. £395 for a tele pickup. I'm sure it's worth it to somebody and there must be good money to be made in investing in vintage instruments or people wouldn't do it. Guess you've got to speculate to accumulate but the air is too rarefied up there for me.

Lowering my expectations has succeeded beyond my wildest dreams.

Helpful of you to share that opinion on my sales thread, thanks for that  :)

Hopefully anyone who knows the vintage market will agree this is very fairly priced and I certainly paid a fair bit more for the pre cbs one I’m replacing this with.

I'm looking for an original 1976 bridge pickup for my tele, I'm certainly expecting to pay north of £300.

@munckee based on Reverb I think you are right and that’s before you add import tax as most are in the States. Hopefully you find a bargain over here. I have priced the 66 pup at £595 on Reverb and won’t be surprised to get close to that if it sells there.

I paid £395 for it and it’s offered here at the same price so hoping it finds a forum member who needs one I can share the bargain with

And 66 pup sold via Reverb for a bit more than the asking price here. Shows it does pay to be a part of this community.

    The J-100 still available
