SOLD BMF Effects GB Boost £105
Black Mass FX 1312 Distortion Rat Clone - SOLD PPG delivered.
This is the V2 model, which can take 9-18v power and is switchable between 8 different Rat models, including standard, turbo etc. In excellent condition, boxed, sounds great but not required. Velcro on the bottom and top jacks too which is a bonus.
Manual has this to say:
The 1312 Distortion is based on everyones favorite rodent-themed distortion pedal. The real star of this pedal is the Clip control. With the eight-way rotary diode clipping switch, it’s like having eight different distortion pedals at the turn of a knob. This pedal features true bypass switching and is happy anywhere in your pedal chain. All Black Mass pedals

In very good condition, sounds amazing but it's not fitting on my board anymore as I wanted my Timmy back on, so it's up for sale. Boxed with instructions, literally jaw dropping into a driven Plexi. Superb pedal

are built in Salem, Massachusetts with a little bit of magic and a whole lot of love.
CONTROLS:
Level: Controls overall output level
Filter: Turn clockwise for more treble
Gain: Controls the amount of drive/distortion
Clip: 8 Way rotary switch for selecting clipping
diodes. Rotating clockwise, starting at “noon,”
clipping options include:
•SILICON - Familiar, compressed clipping
•RED LEDS - Louder, more aggressive sounding
•VINTAGE GERMANIUM - Thick, amp-like
•QUAD SILICON - Loudest, most transparent
•ASYMMETRICAL SILICON - Less fizzy than
silicon, more organic
•MOSFET - Saturated and modern sounding
•GERMANIUM/SILICON - Unique, looser sounding
•ASYMMETRICAL MOSFET* - Modern sounding, lower gain (*you may need to turn counter clockwise from 12 o’clock to 11
o’clock to access depending on your version)
POWER:
•Standard 2.1mm center negative power only.
•9-18v DC only.
•Do not run at higher voltages.
•Current Draw: <100mA.
•Use an isolated power supply. Daisy chains will often work fine but can introduce unwanted noise.
NOTES:
•Try running at 18V for increased clarity, definition, and grind. Trust me, it’s worth it.
•The Op-Amp is socketed on the circuit board. The 1312 comes with an OP07 chip preinstalled but a number of single op-amp chips will work such as TL071, LM308, LM741 etc. Feel free to experiment, always check the datasheet of your opamp.
