A side project started ages ago, an evenings & odd moments thing. It's European poplar, lightened, with a maple top. Satin nitro body & neck. Pretty chuckable at 7 lbs dead. Got to sell it but it's a ton of fun to grab and play.

It's got a little trick up it's sleeve, it's been done before I know but hey, see vid if you will, I think it works OK.


The guitar's unprocessed EQ-wise, I had a Keeley comp on set very low for the clean bit though.

My first time diving into Reaper and second time attempting video+DAW, I've no clue at all about mixing (it doesn't quite work on phone speaker with the bass bits for instance) and I don't get to play much these days but it's done. I can see why people like recording though, it's well addictive...

    Nice! I haven't tried their Tele pickups but they both make great pickups.

     so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    Yes I have it now and it sports a Duncan Quarter Pounder and Eldred wiring courtesy of a prewired harness from Six String Supplies, no neck pickup

    Ive never really bonded with Fender Teles, but there is something about this thats just “right” from the neck profile, fret size, weight, finish etc, it would take a lot to get me to part with it
