Very clean condition (both the board and the case) - it’s not all that old and has only left the house once. Hasn’t been drilled.

    I’ve just switched my two board setup around. I wanted to get the Meris Mercury 7 back on the board, and also a Boss CE-2 (bought a waza because powering the originals is less than fun) and I also wanted to configure it so that one board was into the amp, and the other was into the effects loop. I’ve got it all, and I need to recoup the outlay! Will have full midi control over the Meris too.

    I’ve also realised that the Zvex Box of Rock (when placed after a Fairfield accountant and Modele b) sounds perfect, and I really don’t need any more gain after that. Well, I have a soviet muff too, but yknow.

    Interesting: don’t you have one of the earlier Twins with an FX loop?

    I will have to try a Mercury 7, don’t know why I’ve been resisting. I’ve got a UAFX Golden Reverberator and Chase Bliss Thermae on the way, and still not sure if I’m made the right choice of reverb, though it does sound incredible. I was going to set up the Thermae or Timeline as a chorus/vibrato when not using the other as a delay, but your JHS Emperor is tempting me.

    Mercury 7 is the greatest reverb I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. It’s spectacular. Yes, my twin has an effects loop, I’ve just not been using it. Im now going to have a modulation board in the loop, and a drive and pitch board in the front end.
