Thinking about selling on my Twin. This is an amazing amp, some people love them, some people hate them! For me, i love the clean channel, It's possible to get a wide range of classic Fender cleans from it. The dirty channel, well... not for me!

I've gigged it for years, and it's never let me down. Power valves for changed a few years ago to TAD small bottle 6L6's, and a few of the pre-amp valves have been changed too. It has the hand low power switch which will reduce the output to around 25w, and it's possible to get some breakup from the clean channel. In High power, i've never managed to get the amp above 4, it's a loud beast!

Speakers are original and sound great, i tried some Jensen Neo's, to reduce the weight, but they were lacking in the low end, so i put the originals back in. Speaking of weight, its heavy..77lbs.

The grill cloth has been replaced, the original was ripped and stained when i purchased it in 2004, so it was replaced with some black marshall type cloth. Few scuffs, but nothing major, original foots witch is included as well. When i bought it, i had Roqsolid make me a cover, which is also included.

I'm looking for £350 collected from Leicester, i can help with delivery around the Midlands, or meet up etc.

Those speakers are heavy buggers but they really are great.

You've put them back in upside down though :).

Amazing price for my favourite Fender amp
I have the later issue one with black dials. Your description is spot on

And you cant go wrong at £300
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

These are truly amazing amps- they're not like TR's, they're just beasts. Power monsters.

    £300? Christ on a bike!!
