Blueridge Historic Series Finish

What's Hot
Hi all,

What finish do these have? Specifically the BR180CE. Is it nitro?

Considering either one of these or a Furch Vintage series guitar / discontinued Furch D31

Cheers

I doubt it's nitro. They only mention "full gloss finish"... if it was nitro they'd be shouting about it.

that's my thoughts exactly. Great sounding guitar, will probably go for it based on its sound and playability, but would like some clarification on this matter

Vintage High Gloss Style Finish is all I can come up with. But they look great, and if you try one, like the sound, playability and feel, go for it. All the best.

I played a few Blueridge guitars a few years ago and the finishes were a little on the thicker side of things, but they were all largely superb sounding guitars.

I played a 12 fret model which was very good indeed.

thanks for the feedback, yes they're very good indeed. I think McCartney bought one not too long ago.

They also got back to me and confirmed its a thin coat of polyurethane
