Selling on behalf of a friend. Neck from a classic 50's MIM Strat with the complete plate and electronics.
Neck has been sanded down and the frets could do with a level. (edit: tuners seem to have been replaced also). Plate is untested and as seen, though I am told it all works. Would make great for a project!

£150 for the neck, £75 for the plate, £200 for both. What you see is what you get, £15 posted for the neck, £5 for the plate.

I thought the classic / player came with kluson style tuners?

I think you can see the holes where they were.

  • Yeah I believe they were replaced, though I'm not 100% on these models.

Can you just clarify the model, classic player 50s strat has 9.5 radius V neck, MIM classic 50s has 7.25 V neck.

The pickups shown on the pickguard are not custom shop 57/62s from what I can see which suggests either they have been changed or not classic player, I don't know what the pickups in the classis series 50s strat look like though.

The pickups on the regular Classic Series were the plastic bobbin variety, with the part number of the bobbin molded in the base. They are all wound the same i.e. same dcr (give or take manufacturing tolerances), same magnetic polarity (no rwrp middle) etc. So the pictured pickguard does look to be from a regular Classic Series, not from a Classic Player.
