Anybody aware of any acoustic groups near the CB10 (Saffron Walden) postcode? (When restrictions allow obviously). Cambridge/Bishops Stortford/Royston'ish. Not Classical.

Just moved here midwinter and missing ensemble playing. Not too interested in guitar societies as much as groups concentrating on the music and playing. Looked on interweb without success.

Ta folks. Could start my own I suppose. We have a big room suitable. Anyone interested? (Using messaging facility on FB an option if you might be.)

    There used to be a bluegrass jam that happened at the Six Bells in Cambridge, no idea if it will ever restart though.

    There are a few folk clubs around which have singarounds where anyone can join in with anyone else. My favourite is the Black Fen which meets on a Sunday night. Good folk clubs in Bury St Edmunds too if you can be bothered to make the trek.
