Hi all. I want some new straps for both my acoustic and electric guitars. Just wondering if there is any recommended UK manufacturers? I don't want leather but more of a retro design.

You'll need leather ends on it ideally though.

prefer leather straps. My last non-leather strap came undone at the join, and was the impetus for going to bearstraps.com

I've got both these on my guitars

Leathergraft are excellent.  I believe @RevMatt is also a fan.

I've got them on every guitar other than one, which has a very expensive Levy's.

Action Custom Straps out of Idianopolis are really good and made out of various dead animals (mammals and reptiles). I bought one years ago at a guitar show in Arlington Texas. I think it cost me about $30 back in 2005 maybe. It's black leather but with a lone star window in each end which I think is rattlesnake. I've just checked on their website. Frighteningly expensive. I won't be buying another.

I've just seen on their site that James Blunt uses Action Straps so that's confirmed; I definitely won't be buying another one.

Indeed, I have a few and they're very good, and not quite as pricey as some.

I have used Bear and Airstraps and they are both great quality.  Browsing recently, I discovered a fair few British makers on Etsy and would recommend looking there.

Thanks all. Etsy is new to me but had a fair number of British made ones. A few new ones ordered.
