Looking for inspiration for an Esquire really.
I have a nice Partscaster Esquire, but the pickup is rubbish. I dont want usual nasal sounding pickip, but something with a bit more beef to it.

More beef = Seymour Duncan ST59-1 Li'l '59 for Telecaster, BG-1400 or Custom Shop Pearly Gates for Telecaster.

Less nasal = Fender '51 Nocaster. There is a pair listed in the Parts £ classified section. (Not mine, I hasten to add.)

    Be seeing you.

I have a tone rider t1b or whatever it’s called going. I used in in my esquire for ages and always liked it but I’m turning it into a tele now with noiseless pups so the tonerider is for sale cheap!!!!

I'm starting to think a Seymour Lil 59 might be my answer.

Wire in series /parallel  push pull pot too for extra tonal options. I'm waiting for a Tele little 59 to appear here secondhand or on the bay at a reasonable price.

I've just bought a tele bridge pickup from Mojo Pickups.

I got the same one that goes into the Patrick James Eggle Oz guitars. Its a cracking pickup, loads of body and warmth to it, loads of character and retains the tele vibe and not spiky in the high end at all.
