Breedlove pickup issue

What's Hot
I have an issue with the Fishman piezo pickup on my Breedlove. It generally works fine but the B and top E strings seem noticeably quieter than the other strings when plugged in. It's particularly noticeable when finger picking.

Any ideas what could be the problem or if there's an easy fix?

Dirt in the saddle slot so the pickup is not seated totally tightly to the base of the slot (or the saddle on top of it) along its whole length.

Try just pressing on the saddle and wiggling it, if there's any movement. If that doesn't fix it, very carefully lift the saddle and the pickup and clean everything. Be very careful not to bend the pickup or the wire where it's attached to the end of it.

The worst case possibility is that the pickup is cracked - between the G and B strings - not common, but not that rare either. The only solution to that is to replace the pickup.

Not dissimilar to me recently, after changing strings.

fixed by doing what @icbm said, and I made sure the saddle was seated properly (not tilted slightly) and put a bit of pressure on the saddle as I restrung the E and B strings. And that made the difference .
    good luck
