As above, I'm after some replacement machine heads as the winged ones are a pain to change strings on.

How worn are your wing collar 'heads? If they still work well, you can probably find a buyer.

The trick will be finding replacement locking 'heads with the same location screw layout.
    Be seeing you.

Does your D & G tuner share a screw? As that will have to be factored in if you want to change them.
You can now read my guitar ramblings here http://www.gearnews.com and here https://guitarbomb.com

Thanks for the info so far, the current ones are in great condition but not to my liking.

The D & G string share separate screws.

  • Those tuners are a pain, until you get the ‘ oh, like that’ moment and then it’s easier.
I remember trying to change my high e for the first time in a studio and being almost completely stumped!

This video is a good example what to do:

High e is still annoying to change, tho. Holding in taught while turning cuts into your hand.

  • I used Schaller M6 top locks to swap the PRS tuners on an Artist III. The D/G shared screwhole is easy to overcome with a metal file to make them work. No other drilling or filing nescessary, and easy to fit yourself with basic tools

Took a lot of weight off the headstock, and the guitar sits better on the strap for me ... first world problem, I know
