Strange acoustic designs...

I was just browsing a guitar store's website and came across these unusual acoustics by a builder I've never heard of called aNueNue
The soundhole is situated off-set, nearer the shoulder of the guitar's body rather unlike 'traditional' designs where the soundhole is more 'central'.

Has a nice sound but the positioning of the soundhole is offputting! It sort of reminds me of Ovation (the positioning). Weird.

Another tune, same guitarist, same guitar...

What do others think? The other thing I found interesting is how the neck seems to be set slightly apart from the body, there's almost two slight cutaways around the neck. Design turns some heads that's for sure...

Really don't like the aesthetics of that at all, not one bit. I don't even want to hear it!

I'm sure it's a lovely guitar, just not for me.

I played a couple of Emeralds recently which are carbon fibre and have a strange sound hole which reflects the sound up to you. Most comfortable acoustic guitar I have ever played.

Breedlove do a top sound hole so you can hear yourself better when playing. It's unusual but quite subtle.

Funny you say that, I actually think it looks cool! But I'm not sure what kind of effect it would have on the tone and sustain?
