I’ve been playing cheap acoustics forever and only briefly had a decent acoustic guitar in a Martin JC16RGTE....Well today I picked up a ‘98 Taylor 714 Rosewood/Cedar... pics to follow

    Sweet! Looks lovely. 

    I had a Crafter cedar top acoustic, sounded good but played like a bitch, I think that's since out me off Cedar tops. 

    That looks nice though, quality guitar. Congrats.

    I wasn’t sure on the cedar top but I figured if it’s good enough for James Taylor......It’s a far better guitar than I’m worthy of, but I’m sounding as good as I’ll ever sound now

    edit.... For all you Acoustic players, what strings are fantastic on acoustics? I hardly ever change strings so don’t mind spending on some decent ones... just not elixir’s

    I like phosphor bronze D'addarios or Dragon Skins (which are coated). Really gone off using Elixirs, they just don't feel right.

    It plays like an electric and is super comfy...I’ve been looking for something half decent for a while now and when this one popped up locally I had to try it out. 
    I’ve probably missed some belters on here but I needed to try before buying.
