I'm thinking of getting a 5E3, or similar Fender tweed amp (Fender clone).  Point to point.  

What's on offer?

I'm based in High Wycombe, just off M40 J4.

    Keep an eye on Coda Music's page - a Louis Electric Buster should appear any time now. For me, it's a better amp than the Lazy J. Loud, though.

    Yeah. But with my sensible head on I realise I actually do need a few pedals for my covers band ... So I'll probably stick to my 2x 6l6 pedal platform jobby instead. Hence the Tweed deluxe may be available soon. Hope that makes sense. It nearly does to me.

    I'm looking £1k absolute max. Just bought s CS Strat, so reserves depleted....

    memes originally hoping to get a decent clone for £500ish (Vyse etc), but there seems to be some exotica about that's pushing the budget....

    have been offered somthing 'interesting', but deal not done yet.

    Why a 5E3? Why not one of the older circuits in a matching cab like a wide-panel 5C3 or a TV front 5A3? You could have any of those built for that budget.
