Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 2x12 combo + flight case 
Based in Stoke on Trent - £850

All tube 50W combo switchable down to 5W. 2x12 Black Shadow speakers.
Tube driven reverb, 2 channels, 4 modes, from lush cleans that beat the crap out of most fen#ers, 
to that characteristic Mesa drive that very much reminds Metallica on their Black Album. 
Proper 240V UK version, in mint condition, with slip cover, footswitch, all documentation and factory tags.
Pickup only or may deliver locally and NO TRADES I'm afraid - running out of space in man cave.

    how heavy is this beast of an amp ? I know Mesa's are heavy and don't have side handles....I guess hence why you have a flight case...only they add even more weight for when you have to lift in and out of the car or go up/downstairs...I'm interested tho!

    Well... It's not the lightest amp in the world, 2x12 mesa combo - says it all! ;) Anyway, spec says 70lbs.
    I only used the bottom of flight case + slip cover for transporting it to studio and small local gigs, no side handles but it's a part of a deal when buying a Boogie. Full flight case comes useful when you wanna place the amp a bit higher for better sound projection.

    I'm used to carrying an AC30 to gigs all the time..but 2 handles on the top on either side helps...


    how much for the amp minus the unwanted (to me that is) flight case..ie extra weight n bulk.....that's if you'd split ? I use an amp stand or another amp underneath the top one for getting it up high enough! Amp stands are very light and a padded cover offers adequate protection. :-)

    if one of my guitars sells then i'll have it...I do want it (obviously) - its a box that's never been ticked in my playing life so far. I've owned & gigged Marshall/Vox/Fender/Peavey for many years. Never even played through a Mesa amp...hence the desire. But as with all things in life...money is an issue (for me anyway) I know we've agreed those items you've ticked above. I'm teetering on a knife edge..... :)
