wtb Combo (1x12?) Rehearsal Amp

I'm still debating what I want so feel free to temp me...

A pro junior would be good but I was toying with a jet city 2212 and at a zt lunchbox so I'm looking for something a bit interesting...

Small and light is good - I just need an decent clean sound that can keep up with a drummer in a reheasal room.  It doesn't need to have giggable.
Budget depends on the amp but definitely less than 400 - I'm not looking to spend a lot, I just want a cool, pick up and go little amp for rehearsals.

edit:  Currently looking at something like a tubemeister36  - a 3 or more channel combo with midi would be very cool - or something with a half decent clean sound...

and replied - very tempting offer but I'll see what anyone else has going - that's way more of an amp than I expected.

Although the right head could tempt me, I'd prefer a combo for this job...

Hah! Not selling matey, just suggesting. I've had mine years, covers all bases including loud drummy rehearsals, or gigs with the line out into a 4x12.

Thanks Dan but like a Laney - on paper it would tick all the boxes but it isn't my thing -  I'm sure it's a great amp though - glwts :)

  • Buy a WEM Dominator Mk.III
Vintage 70's combo amp, plenty loud, clean headroom.
Can pick them up online for between £150.00 and £300.00 depending on condish and seller greed.
People sell them off cheap to "upgrade" to brand new Marshalls and Vox's at double/trip the price. Fucking histerical if u ask me.

Tonewise will slay anything at twice the price on stage or în a studio.

Only con: Perhaps not quite the dinky, lightweight you looking for, but not far off.

That's silly cheap - I wanted a combo but I'm so tempted to grab that as another spare head - don't hold it especially for me but if I don't see a combo I want in the next few days I might grab it :)

Amazingly I still haven't managed to buy something....  I'm trying to avoid tapdancing pedals so something nice and clean that i can plug the dg stomp multieffects into -  debating the yamaha power engine on ebay!   or something like a H&K tubemeister with 3 or more channels and midi switching would be great.
