I'd see if I could find a used 2012 or later D-18 although that may be optimistic

I think I recall form my nosing about a while back that D-18s tend to go for about 1200 but I  may be wrong.

2012 is when they changed the bracing is it?

Not sure if any interest but I was considering selling my spanking new 2015 Taylor 324ce Shaded Edgeburst.

No hard sell here just PM me if you want any details.

Edit - almost a week on and I've only just spotted the 'dreadnought' in the post. Dearie me it's been a long year.....!

Ah ok (and yes that's when the changed the bracing and a few other little details).

In that case, my next port of call would be looking for a used Larrivee as high up the range as my budget would get me.

Also high end Chinese like Eastman.

Wasn't that the same company that had a Gibson for a fishy low price too? The seller translates as 'Heart Love Baby & Gift Boutique' - a bit odd.

^ Very fishy. This has been happening a lot on Amazon. I'd avoid it, but that's just me.

Try a Furch or Stonebridge, they're the same company and make stunning guitars.

Yes, I've seen this company before with apparently amazing deals.  They've got quite a few guitar adds.  The problem with amazon as the ratings show feedback for the same item from different sellers.  I've been tempted to buy from them but in the end decided against it.  They may be ok but ....

I have a Seagull all solid woods and is great, big acoustic for the money. If you can play one try it.

Just a thought but how about a Yamaha LL16 D ARE they are a lot of guitar for the money. About £870 I think.  Or a higher MIJ model SH.

Guitar Classics in Wandsworth has a Furch/Stonebridge dreadnought priced at £950.  I've got a 12 fret Furch Dreadnought on consignment in there at £1200 if you want to spend a bit more.

You might want to give him a call though.  His website is not very up to date.

I've got a LL16ARE and they are very good value, new price is around £699.00, however they don't hold their price very well on the second hand market.

Other than that you might get a J45 for a grand second hand or as previously mentioned a very cheap used D18.
