Hi Guys

This is an amazing Sai 2x12 cab from the late 60s or possibly very early 70s.  Serial number: 3099  These Sai cabs are just amazingly well put together with 18mm and 20mm ply and solid pine bearers.  Hand made in Lancashire.  I had a pair of these and I sold the other one last week.  It's all original and even has all the original screws and cup washers.  Also has the original feet.

The construction is superb and even the back panel is 18mm ply and fits like a glove.  Really kicks the sound out.

The speakers are a matched pair of Celestion blackbacks that originally came from a quad. Both speakers are dated 1975 and the chassis codes for both speakers are: LH 10

Both speakers are 16 ohm and are wired in parallel for 8 ohms.  They're both 75Hz.

The construction of the cab means it is not light at 25 kilos but a lot of that weight is the drivers......however, the cab on its own weighs over 15 kilos.  The huge advantage is that it has a decent side handle which make transporting it relatively simple.  It's like carrying a suitcase and it's therefore well balanced.  Not like a conventional 2x12 with a top mounted handle that gives your knees a bashing!!  Dimensions are:  44cm wide x 26cm deep x 78cm high (including feet)

I am looking for £185 for the cab + shipping which would be £15.95 with UPS on a next day.  So £200 which I think is fair for such a well made cab with superb speakers.

I am very happy for anyone to come and try the cab or pick it up and I'm also happy for anyone to arrange their own courier.  I'll pack it well.
