This is a bit of a long shot given the specific nature of my suggestion, but you never know. I’m looking for a relatively small footprint and low power 1x12 (or 1x10) valve combo. Specifically one of the following:
· Marshall DSL15 (or possibly DSL5etc)
· Orange Tiny Terror
· Mesa Boogie Subway
· Egnater Tweaker / Rebel
But, there may be other things that I’ve not thought of that match my requirements, so let me know what you have… it must be a combo.
In trade for this I have two items which combined have a value of about £320 and I may be able to add a little for the right thing:
1) Hamer XT Scarab electric guitar. Details here: http://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/78745/fs-hamer-scarab-super-cool-explorer-varient-weekend-reduction#latest
2) SOLD - Blackstar HT5c. Details here: http://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/71017/fs-blackstar-ht-5-1x10-5-watt-valve-combo#latest
I’m in Nottingham, and would need to meet within an hour of here to do a deal.

I have a a finite amount of cash to spend plus a Hamer Scarab XT to trade if need be.
What is it you want to do? Gigging or just studio/recording etc?
Only asking as I might have something.
Cheers, Steve (also in Notts)
I have a Carvin Head and 4x10 Marshall which switches down to 7 watts so works at home or for any gigging eventuality I might come across. So, what I'm after with the combo is an additional low wattage amp for home use that will also be suitable for low demand playing out (eg. at church or accompanying an ensemble I sometimes help out).
This is to replace a Blackstar HT5 which was ideal in many ways but I found the 1x10 format a little boxy / narrow sounding.
Let me know what you have.
That looks great, although to get to £300 I'd need to p/ex my guitar which makes it more complicated - thanks for the heads up.
Might be a bit vintagy for me, but will read up on them. Any thoughts on price?
