valuing a built to order handmade acoustic

What's Hot
I've inherited a Sonntag J17x, but unfortunately I've got COPD so can't play it.  I've tried the internet and can't find any help in its value

It looks like a high end carved top guitar so between 1.5k & 2.5K simply because it's hard to say anything without pics and secondhand values can fluctuate widely depending on popularity. You would be better off asking on a jazzguitar forum.

A brief Google suggests new price is €5900. Which is about £4500 - so used if have thought circa £2500-£3000 would be about right.

I'm no expert on Jazz guitars - I agree with @Winny_Pooh - a more specialist forum is probably the place to go....

Why don't you send the guitar maker an email?

I imagine he'd be able to provide an estimate and possibly even a buyer for the guitar.
