Hi Folks.

Up for sale is my Jim Root Terror - I've no real interest in Slipknot btw it's just a great rock and metal amp.  I've upgraded to a Mesa Mini Rectifier as I wanted two channels for the material I'm playing these days.

Effectively its the gain stage for the Rockerverb series of amplifers in a convenient little lunchbox package with EL84s in the output stage and a loud 15 watts of power.  Certainly able to keep up with bigger amps at rehearsal.  It does cleans with the volume rolled off but I largely play high output pickups into it and haven't had anything particularly pristine though reviews suggest otherwise.  Covers lower gain crunch pretty well and it has the saturation that I really like about the Rockerverbs.

I bought it from Stuart of Your Demise (an orange endorsee) about 2.5 years ago and he had it new from orange and hadn't used it much.  He had a bunch of 200w heads in his living room.....  Since then its been to rehearsal with me about 15/20 times but not gigged.  that being said it gets used as it should but has been treated carefully and is very clean.

It's not a bedroom amp and really needs about 1/3 volume on the dial to open up.  Run it at super low volume and if you trying for gain it will sound a bit fizzy.

I usually boost it with a Pro Tone OD and the bottom end tightens up nicely for tight metal riffing.

Some reviews here

I'm looking for 275 posted or 260 collected from London SE15 (I could meet up within reason)

I'll take it, but will need it posting as I'm up in Derbyshire. Drop me a PM on your payment details and I'll sort that and pass on delivery details. You can thank the missus, I was just listening to what they sound like and she said "that sounds nice, are you buying one?" \m/
