'New' NOS Valvo EF86 - £30 Delivered

SunDevilSunDevil Frets: 509
I bought this to go in a Matchless Clubman, but didn't get on with the amp and returned it.

I don't have any other EF86 amps, so this is now surplus to requirements

As you can see, it's in genuine NOS condition, comes in the original grease-proof paper and rated exceptionally highly

Codes are D7B1, which as I understand it indicates Hamburg manufacture between '63-'67

I will ship in the original packaging, so it will be very secure

Apologies for the crappy pics - I need a macro lens!

I have a matched quad of EL84 and some GT 12AX7 if you fancy a trade?

Hi and thanks - I would, but my amp is JMI spec in the cathode resistor, so the only valves that I've found last more than an hour are the NOS Tung Sols - sounds epic though!

    Cheers

I don't have a requirement for an EF86, but good ones are rare, and while you may have to wait for some time before you come across someone that needs one I hope you still have it to hand when that person pops up and says "Hey, I need an EF86". Good luck, and have patience.

If I ever got my hands on a proper Radford HiFi amplifier, I'd need two.
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
