I've had a build thread going here, and now it's finally finished and in my greasy mits.

It's wonderful. The fan fret is subtle, but makes a difference to playability with that little extra tension on the bass strings. Drop tunings galore :)

For a small guitar it projects really well, and has a lovely balanced tone.

Keeper.

Really like that, especially the inlay around the hole.

It does sound and feel great in alternate tunings. It gives that extra bit of tension on the bass strings. Great for finger-picking.

  • The back and back of headstock look awesome. Really like those contrasting colours. Bridge looks an interesting design, is it unique to this builder?

Yeah the bloodwood really makes it pop doesn't it!

About the bridge, I can't say for definite that nobody else is doing it, but it was designed specifically for this guitar and wasn't knowingly copied. I'm a big fan of it, as it's a lot easier to change a string mid-set than it would be with traditional bridge pins.

Beautiful!  I'll read the build thread tonight, but I love the rosette and the bridge.

    Lovely guitar. Congrats.

Lowden always do pinless bridges, and they are much easier to deal with.

I really like the individual saddles on the bridge. I've not seen that before on an acoustic.

    I hope you're very happy together :)

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to
