I recently took this in a trade. Great sounding amp, but I already have 2 clean, British voiced amps, so it's a case of last one in, first one out.

20 watts (probably closer to 15 as it's a pair of EL84s in cathode biased class A).

All turret board, handwired construction (ridiculously tidy)

Immaculate condition, new EL84s fitted.

Does the fantastic clean Hiwatt thing, but can also get a gritty with the gain control, or you can drive it hard and push it into power amp distortion. With a strat it's just beautiful sounding.

I'm reluctant to sell at this silly price, but I've my heart set on a Friedman and I don't have the space until this goes.

    Could you measure the width of it for me?  I'm picturing this on top of a vertical 2x12....

    I have its bigger brother (Studio/Stage combo).  Love it to bits, but my back isn't so enamoured of it.... :)  I've often thought one of these could be a more sensible alternative.

    Not sure if serious? It's pretty common for the same chassis to be used for both head and combo versions of amps

    Still here.
    I can confirm it's 52cm wide
    I can also confirm it's ridiculously loud for a pair of EL84s

    Sale preferred but will consider trades for other reasonably compact heads
