WTB Redplate Amp

Interested in seeing what Redplate amps people have and might consider selling. Have been after a Magica or Black Magic but would consider most models (head or combo) at the right price. Thanks!

Had looked at this already. Lovely amp but not sure about Dumble-style overdrive section over the "Blackface" preamp. It's not a sound I have much experience with (more accustomed to, and reliant on, Marshall-style overdrive) and I'm not sure if it has enough gain (e.g. Tool, AIC, QOTSA)? Also I'd be looking for postage to Ireland and understand you're looking for collection only.

If you're looking for Marshall high gain Redplate isn't the place to go IMO. The Redplates are renowned for their clean tones with an overdrive flavour on top. I use my OD as a pushed clean at which it excells. Most of Henry's amps are derived from the Dumble pre-amp in some way, thats how he launched his business when the Dumble cloning craze kicked off 10 years or more ago.

Yep @eric_ , I'm with @hywelg - you're probably looking at the wrong amp...
